About Hotelschool The Hague
Hotelschool The Hague was founded and funded in 1929 by the hospitality industry to create a hub where industry partners could gain and share new insights, skills and knowledge. They wanted to start a hub where students can develop, conduct research and share their hospitality knowledge and skills in a realistic setting for a successful career in the industry.
Since the start, it has become a professional operation with a solid international reputation in hospitality management. Hotelschool The Hague has expanded considerably over the years, with an expansion to Amsterdam in 2002. On this second campus they offer the same curriculum. In both cities you can stay at the Hotelschool hotel “Skotel” and eat at the restaurant “Le Debut”; both high quality establishments and run completely by Hotelschool students.

Why do we work together?
The primary reason international students come to the Netherlands are obviously the great educational institutions this country hosts. Apart from being the reason for students to come to the Netherlands, the institutions also serve as the first source of information for these students.
Hotelschool The Hague wants to help their students have a smooth start in their new host country. Therefore, they provide information, have students follow a stepwise introduction process and organise social events in the first weeks of arrival. Still, some students remain with questions about how to arrange their basic needs most effectively and which providers can be trusted and which cannot. This is why we work together. International Student Services unburdens both the educational institution and the students themselves, by providing the right information and making the registration process for crucial services as easy as possible.
